Universal Soldier

A soldier killed during the Vietnam War is revived decades later as part of a military program creating semi-android super-soldiers. When attempts to erase his memories fail, troubling flashbacks return, pushing him to question his orders and confront his violent past.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you want fast, uncomplicated sci-fi action, exaggerated fights, and nostalgic 1990s energy; Not for you if you need subtle acting, deep characters, or tightly reasoned plotting.
