Platoon

A young, inexperienced recruit arrives in Vietnam and is quickly exposed to the physical and psychological horrors of combat. As tensions grow within his platoon, he faces divided loyalties and a deepening moral crisis over the choices people make to survive.

My take

You’ll like this if you want a gritty, emotionally intense anti-war drama focused on fear, loyalty, and moral conflict; Not for you if graphic violence or bleak battlefield stories are difficult to watch.
