The Blob

After a meteorite lands near a small town, a gelatinous alien life form begins engulfing everything it touches and growing larger. Two teenagers try to warn the community, but skeptical adults and police refuse to believe them without proof, leaving the young couple racing to protect the town from the spreading threat.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like campy 1950s science-fiction horror, memorable monsters, and youthful heroes challenging skeptical adults; Not for you if you need polished effects, realistic teenage performances, or consistently fast pacing.
