As a planet-killing comet approaches Earth, an estranged couple and their young son race across a collapsing society toward a possible safe haven. Their dangerous journey tests family bonds while panic, desperation, and unexpected kindness shape the people they encounter.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you prefer grounded family tension and survival stakes over nonstop destruction, especially alongside 10 Cloverfield Lane; Not for you if you want spectacle-first disaster action.
