The Thing

A paleontologist joins an international team at an isolated Antarctic outpost, where they uncover a remarkable discovery buried beneath the ice. Their excitement turns to fear when a mysterious being is freed, spreading paranoia as it can mimic anything it touches.

My take

You may enjoy this if you want a tense, gory Antarctic creature feature with paranoia and suspense, but Not for you if you dislike derivative prequels, uneven effects, or prefer the originality of A Cure for Wellness.
