A Bronx Tale

In the Bronx during the turbulent 1960s, a teenage boy is caught between his hardworking, honest father and a charismatic neighborhood crime boss. As he becomes drawn toward the gangster’s world, he also begins a romance with a Black girl despite the racial tensions surrounding them.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you want a thoughtful, relatively restrained gangster drama about family, loyalty, first love, and moral choices; Not for you if you prefer relentless action or a darker, more violent crime story.
