Young and Innocent

A young writer is falsely accused of murdering a famous actress after discovering her body on a beach. Escaping custody, he teams up with a police constable’s daughter, and together they search for evidence that can clear his name while avoiding the authorities.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like early Hitchcock, wrongfully accused heroes, gentle romance, and suspense mixed with humor; Not for you if you want a relentlessly tense mystery or polished modern pacing.
