Presumed Innocent

A deputy prosecutor becomes entangled in an obsessive affair with a coworker, only for her to be murdered soon after. He’s then accused of the crime, and his attempt to clear his name spirals through lies and buried secrets, while the pressure builds in and around the legal system.

My take

You’ll like this if you want an intense courtroom mystery with a heavy suspense mood and plenty of uncertainty; Not for you if you dislike slowburn legal dramas like Gorky Park or Primal Fear.
