The Tomorrow War

When time travelers warn that humanity is losing a future war against deadly aliens, soldiers and civilians from the present are sent decades ahead to help. A former soldier turned teacher joins the fight, working with a brilliant scientist and his estranged father while searching for a way to protect the world and his family.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you want a loud, emotional sci-fi action adventure with scary aliens and blockbuster spectacle; Not for you if inconsistent logic, clichés, or overlong finales quickly spoil your fun.
