Hundreds of years from now, the last surviving humans find a way to send consciousness back through time and into people living in the 21st century. These travelers take on new lives to carry out missions as teams, aiming to prevent a catastrophic future.

My take

If you like tense, character-driven sci-fi time travel with an ongoing mission focus, Travelers delivers plenty to binge; Not for you if you want a simple, tightly consistent premise.
