Ender's Game

In a future threatened by an alien invasion, gifted children are recruited to train at a military school and prepare for space combat. One unusually talented boy rises through increasingly demanding exercises while facing pressure, isolation, and difficult questions about leadership and war.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like visually polished science-fiction adventures such as John Carter or Divergent, but Not for you if you want deep character development, unhurried world-building, or a fully satisfying adaptation.
