The Intouchables

Inspired by a true story, this film follows an unlikely bond between a wealthy aristocrat who becomes quadriplegic after a paragliding accident and a young man from the projects. When the young man takes a caregiving job, their very different outlooks bring humor, warmth, and new possibilities into each other's lives.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you’re drawn to warm, funny stories about unlikely friendships and finding joy amid hardship; Not for you if you prefer unvarnished, deeply explored drama over an uplifting feel-good tone.
