Passion Fish

After an accident leaves a former soap opera star paraplegic, she returns to her Louisiana childhood home and struggles with bitterness, isolation, and dependence. Her difficult relationship with a new nurse gradually becomes a source of support as both women confront personal challenges and begin to reconsider their lives.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you prefer character-driven dramas with emotional performances, gentle humor, and regional flavor, but it’s Not for you if you want fast pacing, subtle themes, or an unvarnished story.
