Shanghai Noon

A clumsy imperial guard travels from China to the American West after a princess is kidnapped. There, he reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely outlaw partner, and together they face train robbers, dangerous enemies, and a series of comic misadventures while attempting a rescue.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like lighthearted martial-arts adventures, buddy comedies, and Western spoofs such as Crocodile Dundee; Not for you if you want serious drama or consistently sophisticated humor.
