Coming to America

A pampered royal leaves his homeland with his loyal friend to search for genuine love in Queens, New York. Disguised as an ordinary immigrant, he takes a humble job and encounters unfamiliar customs, new friendships, romantic possibilities, and plenty of comic trouble.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like upbeat fish-out-of-water romances, broad 1980s comedy, and playful character performances; Not for you if you prefer subtle humor, realism, or tightly paced stories.
