Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
CriticsCritics: 39
AudienceAudience: 6.4
A witty pirate is drawn into a race to find the legendary Fountain of Youth after crossing paths with a clever woman from his past. Pursued by rival forces, they face dangerous pirates, supernatural threats, shifting alliances, and a perilous quest requiring rare objects and a mermaid’s tear.
My takeYou may enjoy this if you like playful treasure hunts, supernatural adventure, and roguish heroes, especially films such as The Mask of Zorro; Not for you if you need a tight, fresh story.
