Mossville: When Great Trees Fall
Mossville, Louisiana was founded by former slaves and was a safe haven for African-Americans until chemical plants started poisoning the residents and forcing them out. Stacey Ryan decides to fight back against the toxic corporate powers.
My takeA sobering documentary about environmental racism and corporate negligence that destroyed a thriving Black community. Gripping, infuriating, and essential—the kind of film that demands your full attention and stays with you long after it ends.
