Swamp Fire

Johnny, a riverboat pilot on the Mississippi, is seduced by a rich outsider who's nursed him back to health after an accident. Her father owns a large piece of the swamp and has outlawed hunting on the property. Mike resents Johnny and blames him for the hunting ban resorting to acts of vengeance. The film features a water wrestling match between Johnny and a gator, and culminates with the two former Olympic champions duking it out on the bayou!

My take

A pulpy, swamp-soaked adventure from Hollywood's golden age that leans into spectacle and rivalry. Perfect for when you want something entertaining that doesn't demand too much but delivers on action, nature, and drama.
