Men Up

In 1994 Swansea, a group of ordinary middle-aged Welsh men joins an unprecedented medical trial for a new treatment targeting diabetes-related impotence. As they form an unlikely friendship, the trial brings humor, vulnerability, and fresh pressure to their relationships at home.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like warm, character-driven British dramas with humor and heart, especially stories about community and social change; Not for you if you want a tense medical thriller or edgy, fast-paced drama.
