Jungle Cruise

A determined doctor recruits a wisecracking riverboat skipper to guide her and her brother through the Amazon. They search for a legendary tree with healing powers while facing dangerous waters, hostile forces, strange creatures, and an enemy pursuing the same discovery.

My take

You’ll probably enjoy this playful adventure if you like Pirates of the Caribbean, Raiders-style quests, colorful action, and constant jokes; Not for you if predictable plots, CGI-heavy spectacle, or pun-filled humor wear you down.
