Influence

Inspired by Agnes Varda’s ‘Cleo de 5 à 7’, 'Influence’ spends 12 consecutive hours in the intimate company of a young Los Angeles social media influencer. She is suddenly struck by her own mortality while awaiting the results of a biopsy.

My take

A haunting, intimate portrait of a life interrupted by mortality. Watch someone confront the fragility beneath their carefully curated existence in real-time—spare, unflinching, and deeply human.
