Breathless

After stealing a car and killing a motorcycle policeman, a small-time thief hides from the authorities while trying to collect money owed to him. In Paris, he reconnects with an American journalism student and attempts to persuade her to flee with him to Italy.

My take

You may enjoy this if you appreciate rebellious crime stories, lively Paris settings, and unconventional style, but it is Not for you if you prefer tight plots, sustained suspense, or polished dialogue.
