Chasing Shadows

A socially awkward detective who is more comfortable with data than people is transferred to a missing persons unit. Working with a new partner, he applies his sharp eye for patterns to cases involving people who have vanished, while his blunt manner creates friction with those around him.

My take

You may enjoy this British police drama for its unusual detective, missing-person cases, and thoughtful character dynamics; Not for you if you need a long series or fully resolved storylines.
