Case Histories

A former police officer and soldier now works as a private detective in Edinburgh, taking on difficult cases while trying to manage complicated relationships, family responsibilities, and troubling memories from his past. The series blends crime investigations with dry humor, personal drama, and interconnected stories.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like character-focused British mysteries with humor, emotional complications, and unpredictable cases; Not for you if you prefer neat storytelling, consistent pacing, or polished soundtracks.
