Ashes to Ashes
CriticsCritics: 85
AudienceAudience: 8.2
After being shot in 2008, a London detective wakes in 1981 and joins a familiar police team led by an uncompromising chief inspector. While handling cases and adapting to an unfamiliar era, she searches for a way back to her life and tries to understand the strange world around her.
My takeYou’ll enjoy this if you like stylish police dramas, time-displacement mysteries, sharp banter, and 1980s music, especially if you enjoyed Life on Mars; Not for you if you need consistently focused plotting.
