The Detective Is Already Dead

A trouble-prone young man is pulled into an international mystery when a silver-haired detective recruits him as her assistant during a midair emergency. Years later, after trying to live quietly as a high school student, he encounters a girl who looks remarkably like the detective and disrupts his peaceful routine.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like character-driven mystery adventures such as Ace Attorney or Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions; Not for you if you prefer straightforward plots with minimal drama.
