A recently widowed poet and thoughtful inspector investigates complex crimes in 1970s England. Drawing on empathy and insight, he explores the darker sides of human nature while navigating grief and the challenges of solving each case.
My takeYou may enjoy this if you like thoughtful British detective dramas, a reflective lead, and complex mysteries; Not for you if you want fast-paced cases or consistently convincing period details.
