Brideshead Revisited

An Oxford student is drawn into the glamorous world of an aristocratic family after befriending their charismatic son. At the family estate, he becomes captivated by their privilege and falls in love with the son’s sister, while religious convictions and class differences complicate his growing ties to them.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like elegant period romances, aristocratic family dramas, and conflicted relationships; Not for you if you want subtle character depth or a faithful alternative to Mansfield Park.
