Northanger Abbey

A young woman fascinated by Gothic novels travels to Bath, where she navigates new friendships, social expectations, and romantic possibilities. When she visits an imposing country house, her vivid imagination turns ordinary uncertainties into frightening suspicions, challenging her understanding of fiction, trust, and real life.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you like light period romance, Jane Austen adaptations, charming performances, and Gothic touches; Not for you if you want strict fidelity or a more substantial drama like Persuasion.
