Bramwell

AudienceAudience: 7.6

In late nineteenth-century London, a pioneering woman doctor works to move medicine beyond outdated practices. Her determination and firmly held views bring her into conflict with a traditional chief surgeon, while she also faces challenges among friends, colleagues, and a society reluctant to accept her profession.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like period dramas about social barriers, medical change, and a determined woman challenging convention; Not for you if you prefer consistently strong seasons or want to avoid graphic medical scenes.
