The Good Cop

An honest young detective turns to his retired father, a former police officer with questionable ethics, for advice on cases, work, and romance. Their contrasting approaches create a light crime series filled with family banter, quirky investigations, and gentle humor.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you want a light, family-friendly detective comedy with gentle mysteries and character banter; Not for you if you prefer intense procedures, sharp comedy, or consistently complex cases.
