Cop Out

Two longtime detectives are suspended after a reckless incident, leaving one desperate to raise money for his daughter’s wedding. When a valuable baseball card is stolen, the mismatched partners go rogue to recover it, following a trail that leads from petty thieves to a dangerous drug operation.

My take

You may enjoy this if you want a lightweight, old-school buddy-cop comedy with broad humor and familiar action, but it is Not for you if you need a coherent plot or consistently sharp jokes.
