The Fall Guy

Johnny Quinlan is so desperate for a job that he takes a gig as a "bag man" for the mob. Meanwhile, his beleaguered wife has to deal with her bizarre, unemployed, wise-cracking brother and various neighbors while keeping house in their Brooklyn tenement.

My take

A silent-era comedy following a stunt performer's misadventures as he gets caught up in crime and romance. Arlo would dig the physical humor and slapstick charm—it's got that classic underdog energy with genuine heart beneath the gags.
