In late 1943, German leaders devise a daring plan to kidnap the British prime minister during a visit to a quiet Norfolk village. A disgraced paratroop commander leads the dangerous mission, aided by an Irish operative and undercover agents, while local villagers and American forces begin to sense that something is wrong.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like unconventional World War II adventures such as The Dirty Dozen or Force 10 from Navarone; Not for you if you want strict realism, consistently sharp dialogue, or polished action.
