The Call of the Wild

A big-hearted dog is taken from his comfortable California home and brought to the Yukon during the Gold Rush. He joins a mail-delivery sled team, grows into a leader, and faces a series of adventures as he searches for where he belongs.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like heartfelt animal adventures, family-friendly stories, and a dog finding his place in the world; Not for you if conspicuous animated animals or familiar story beats spoil the experience.
