An intergalactic dog pilot from Sirius, the Dog Star, comes to Earth to investigate whether dogs have failed to take over the planet. His visit brings an unusual space adventure into the lives of people and dogs on Earth.

My take

You may enjoy this light, goofy adventure if you love dogs, talking-animal stories, and family comedies; Not for you if you prefer more grounded plots or humor aimed at adults.
