Two orphans set out to claim their inheritance - a 400 acre plot of land in Salem Oregon. To Do so they must cross the rugged snow covered Rocky Mountains in the year 1876.
My takeA gritty 1970s Western that follows two drifters navigating the harsh landscapes and moral complexities of the post-Civil War frontier. Arlo Guthrie's presence brings an earnest, introspective quality to this meditation on survival, redemption, and the clash between civilization and wilderness.
