A shy but resourceful teenager is abducted and held in a soundproof basement by a dangerous killer. When a disconnected phone begins ringing, voices connected to earlier victims offer warnings and guidance, giving the captive a possible chance to fight back and survive.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you want a tense supernatural thriller with strong young performances, creepy atmosphere, and earned scares; Not for you if you prefer nonstop action, graphic horror, or tightly explained mysteries.
