The Andromeda Strain

After a space satellite returns to Earth, nearly everyone in a small New Mexico town dies. A team of scientists is brought to a secure underground laboratory to study the mysterious life form, investigate why two people survived, and determine whether the threat can be contained before it spreads.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy patient, science-focused suspense such as Contagion or The Day the Earth Stood Still; Not for you if you want fast action, flashy effects, or strong character drama.
