A six-member space-station crew examines a Martian sample that could prove life exists beyond Earth. Their excitement turns to a desperate fight for survival when the discovery develops unexpected intelligence and threatens the station, forcing them to protect themselves and prevent danger from reaching home.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you want tense, contained science-fiction horror with a grim atmosphere and relentless danger; Not for you if weak science, familiar ideas, or frustrating character choices quickly spoil the experience.
