After losing his job, home, car, and girlfriend, a directionless cabbie persuades his best friend to enlist in the U.S. Army. Alongside a ragtag group of recruits, he clashes with strict instructors and turns basic training into a series of chaotic, irreverent misadventures.

My take

You may enjoy this if you like irreverent military comedies, ensemble misfits, and Bill Murray’s loose comic style; Not for you if you need consistent pacing, believable stakes, or restrained adult humor.
