Sphere

A spacecraft is discovered deep beneath the sea, and a team of scientists and specialists is sent to investigate. Inside, they find a mysterious perfect sphere that challenges their understanding of reality, while the isolated team faces growing danger and psychological tension.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you prefer cerebral, claustrophobic science fiction with mystery and psychological tension, like The Abyss or The X Files; Not for you if you want clear answers, constant action, or straightforward storytelling.
