Sense & Sensibility

CriticsCritics: 74
AudienceAudience: 7.8

Two sisters seek love and security within the tightly controlled society of 18th-century England. One relies on restraint, practicality, and social manners, while the other follows her emotions with openness and intensity, as their family faces difficult changes and both sisters navigate romance, reputation, and competing expectations.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like romantic period dramas with strong performances, emotional family relationships, and Austen adaptations such as Poldark or Pride and Prejudice; Not for you if you dislike rushed storytelling or liberties with classic material.
