Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

A noble crusader escapes a Jerusalem prison with help from a Moorish fellow prisoner and returns to England, only to find his family estate destroyed and his father dead. Joining forces with forest outlaws, he challenges a ruthless sheriff whose tyranny threatens the kingdom.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy big, old-fashioned medieval adventures with bold villains, humor, and sweeping action; Not for you if you prefer consistent realism, subtle writing, or a more restrained Robin Hood story.
