Kingdom of Heaven

After losing his wife, a blacksmith travels to Jerusalem during the Crusades and is drawn into royal politics, religious conflict, and the defense of the city. As rival factions push toward war, he must decide what honor, faith, and responsibility mean amid brutal battles and competing claims to the Holy Land.

You’ll like this if you enjoy sweeping historical epics, moral conflicts, and large-scale medieval battles, especially The Patriot; Not for you if you want fast pacing, simple politics, or strict historical accuracy.
