Road House

A highly regarded bouncer is hired to clean up a notoriously violent bar in a small Missouri town. As he brings order to the establishment, he clashes with a powerful local figure whose influence reaches far beyond the bar, while beginning a romance with a doctor.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like unapologetically cheesy 1980s action, memorable one-liners, muscular heroes, and nonstop bar fights; Not for you if you want realism, subtle drama, or restrained violence.
