The Hot Spot

A drifter arrives in a sweltering small town, talks his way into a used-car sales job, and begins planning a bank robbery. As he grows entangled with two very different local women, suspicion, desire, and trouble close in around him.

My take

You’ll enjoy this if you like steamy, morally murky neo-noir with a slow-burn pace and tangled relationships; Not for you if you want brisk action, straightforward plotting, or a lean thriller like Confidence.
