Perfect Blue

A rising pop star leaves singing to pursue acting, but her career shift brings harassment, disturbing roles, and a growing sense that reality is slipping away. As people around her are murdered, she becomes trapped between her public image, her former self, and frightening visions she can no longer trust.

My take

You’ll like this if you enjoy unsettling psychological horror, unreliable reality, and dark celebrity stories, especially films such as Paprika; Not for you if you dislike graphic material or deliberately confusing narratives.
