A worried young man feels out of place with his wealthy family, friends, and even his girlfriend. As he tries to sort out what’s really going on, his suspicions intensify—until he returns home to find a strange party in full swing, where everything begins to make unsettling sense.

My take

If you like unsettling social paranoia and horror that leans hard into bizarre party-night dread, Society may work for you; Not for you if you need a straightforward, tightly paced plot, or if gore-and-gross-out moments turn you off like in Videodrome or Bride of Re-Animator.
