Audience

In a small North Carolina town, two half brothers with very different lives are brought together through basketball and family conflict. One is a talented, overlooked player raised by his single mother, while the other is the celebrated star whose privileged world hides deep tensions at home.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you want an emotional young-adult drama with romance, friendship, family conflict, and music; Not for you if you prefer consistently grounded storytelling or dislike long basketball-centered plots.
